Days of Dialogue works with various host organizations to design and conduct facilitated dialogues on often sensitive or contentious topics of interest to the organization or community.
Dialogue planning can be intiated by host organizations or other interested parties. Initial discussions identify current needs and topic (s) for dialogue. The dialogues themselves are conducted in groups typically of six to ten participants. We provide experienced facilitators who have been trained by the Dispute Resolution Program of the Los Angeles City Attorney's office. We use discussion materials developed by the Study Circles Resource Center or by ourselves in consultation with host organization.
Host organizations generally the venue and are often involved in lining up participants. Costs are modest and are borne by the host organization or by grant funding.
