Please join us in "Revisiting Public Confidence: Community Day of Dialogue in Inglewood".

Days of Dialogue Chairman Mark Ridley-Thomas, Inglewood City Council Member Danny Tabor, Inglewood Area Minister's Association, Inglewood- Airport Area Chamber of Commerce, Coalition for a Better Inglewood, Inglewood South Bay Branch of NAACP and members of the California Legislative Black Caucus will co-sponsor a Day of Dialogue on police conduct and public safety in the City of Inglewood on Thursday, August 21, 2008 at 6:00 p.m. at First Church of God: Center of Hope (9550 Crenshaw Boulevard, Inglewood 90305).

"Revisiting Public Confidence: A Community Day of Dialogue in Inglewood" is being held in the aftermath of recent Inglewood Police Department (IPD) officer-involved shooting incidents that caused community controversy and led elected officials to call for independent investigations of IPD by county, state and federal officials. The two-and-a-half hour Inglewood community Day of Dialogue will be open to the public. Refreshments will be provided at the evening event.
